Self Care -
YES Academy

Personal hygiene and health education are essential life skills for young learners. Students at YES Academy produced an informative film on hygiene by conducting interviews with a nurse, health professional, doctor, and their principal to gather expert advice on proper self-care practices. The elementary filmmakers also engaged in a hands-on activity, creating their own hygiene station that demonstrates proper care techniques while providing fellow students with practical tips for maintaining good health and cleanliness habits.

This film was created during a film workshop series with Young Moviemakers of America (YMA) during the spring 2025 semester.
