Online safety is a growing concern for families as children increasingly engage with social media platforms. In this educational documentary film produced by students at Chapman Elementary School in Gardena, CA, young creators address this vital topic through a dramatic story of a kid engaging on social media without her parents’ knowledge. The film also includes important guidance for parents on monitoring their child’s digital footprint and fostering open communication about responsible internet use.
This film was created during a film workshop series with Young Moviemakers of America (YMA) during the spring 2025 semester.
